What We Do
From its inception, Storytelling Arts Inc. has been an ally for classroom teachers and other adults working with young people in navigating the complexities of issues such as gender identity, race, and the environment. SAI’s programs and services bring to schools and community-based organizations time-tested stories of characters and circumstances that resonant in today’s world.
Through stories, SAI’s skilled teaching artists open the door to rich discussions about relevant and often difficult issues facing children and society in general. Through the lens and safe distance of folktales, together we ponder that universal question: how are we to live?
